20.3. U Zagrebačkom &ITD-u će po ko zna koji put pred zagrebačku publiku stati Chris Eckman i Carla Torgerson. Siroj publici znani kao ključni članovi kultnog banda The Walkabouts, njih dvoje će nam ovaj put predstaviti novi album svog side projekta koji nosi jednostavno ime Chris & Carla. Chris & Carla zvuče jako slično The Walkabouts pa znate sto možete očekivati a novi album "Fly High Brave Dreamers" je odličan tako da obavezno navratite. A o album "Fly High Brave Dreamers" Chris Eckman je rekao:

"The goal on this album was to find a balance between different concepts and aesthetics and types of songs. As I mentioned earlier, live performances lead to very different conclusions. A drummer will play a song he has never heard before very differently than a song he has rehearsed for months. I like to ambush people sometimes, to make them think on their feet, to play without a safety net, knowing THIS is the album, the thing we are playing right now IS the album. It won't be edited, and there's no going back. I like where that sort of thinking leads. It leads to a certain type of playing, and that type of playing is even different with each musician. Some will play with more expression and some will play with less. It is not right for every song, or even for every band or collection of musicians. But in the right context it yields great results, and on this album, on the songs that we did that, I think it was very successful.
It is not a purer way to work. Nothing that is going through microphones and mixing desks and the like is "pure" - I hate words like purity and authentic and that sort of shit. ANY recorded music is already electronic and mediated by technology. Recording live is just a different flavor. It is just another way to break up the routine."
